We all jumped for joy the day Daddy flew back to Utah just in time for Aunt Sarah’s wedding weekend. After a week of me telling the girls that Daddy was STILL at work, they seemed dubious.
When Daddy walked in the door with Grandma Celeste, who had picked him up from the airport, the girls were in total shock and wouldn’t leave his lap the rest of our lunch with Grandma. Making the five minute drive to Kneader’s with Jake driving with his mom and the girls in my car was like the apocalypse as far as they were concerned. I WANT DADDYYYYYYYYY!!!! Traumatized much?
Everyone enjoyed lunch, except for perhaps Jake, who couldn’t eat due to two toddlers glued to his side, chatting away about all the fun things he missed that week. They listened with sympathy when Jake told them all about his fun plane ride wherein he got peed on by the toddler in the seat in front of him. Only on a Jet Blue flight to SLC does that happen!
It was a no-nap day, thanks to all the excitement of having Daddy back.
That weekend, Uncle Mike and Allie drove down and the bridal party/family converged on Grammy’s house for a pre-wedding bbq and short rehearsal.
Samantha and Amelia entertained everyone with their play doh skills.
Amelia inspects her flower girl basket before practice time.
Baby Noah loves corn as much as the girls.
The girls loved their hike to the waterfall with Grammy so much that they decided to go again, this time to show cousins Allison, Zack and Baby Noah. He’s not so much of a baby anymore, but the girls still call him that!
Throwing sticks and rocks into the river. Classic entertainment.
Noah was more interested in Bandit.
Three amigos.
Peek-a-
Boo!
Feeding the fish preventing three toddlers from eating fish food/falling in the water.
We were successful on one of those counts. Kidding! Not fish food.
Guess who was “feeling silly”? Samantha’s words, not mine.
Cousin fun at Bridal Veil Falls!
Lots of love,
